We were greeted with a monster ground swell this morning..Wow,,was that big out there…I steamed offshore just to try to find some bites cause I knew inshore the bottom would be stirred up…Luckily we got into fish right away and had keeper as soon as we started which was great considering the size of the swell…So in the end we had a high hook with a limit of keepers,,,and our Jumbo pool winner was only 6 years old..Yes,,,that is correct…This kid hooked the fish himself and cranked it in,,won all the pool money…I will get some pics later..Fish was 5lbs and worth a ton of money..Nice job kid!!
As for tomorrow we are set up for a great day,,,big money on the line…Boarding begins at 5am…But dont worry about where you fish,,,we drifted and hovered today and fish were caught mostly I think near the middle of the boat…keep that in mind..Gonna fish deep and shallow so be ready for everything…Daily pool is huge and the seasonal is on the line for those signed up for tomorrow..So see ya for coffee…!
